1. Do your GA4 plans cover cross domain tracking?

No, the plans above do not cover custom cross-domain solutions.

The scope is limited to Google Analytics for 1 website. However, if you want to implement cross-domain tracking in your GA4 account, feel free to contact us for a quote.

2. What about GDPR and privacy law?

Our configurations meet the NZ privacy commissioners requirements, and googles requirements. We ensure no PII gets through.
It’s up to you to ensure your privacy and cookie policies are up to date and reviewed by legal*.

If your website presents PII on page or in the URL you’ll need a custom quote. Nothing we can’t solve.
*Because of this we can’t accept liability for privacy requirements.

3. What about e-commerce tracking and app implementation?

We can support e-commerce tracking and App + web, including through Shopify.

The scope of our standard GA4 plans is limited to Google Analytics for non-E-commerce sites and . E-commerce tracking as well as App+ Web is by quote only so feel free to contact us for a quote..

4. What about Facebook, Tik Tok and other marketing pixels and custom conversions?

We can install your marketing pixels in Tag Manager as part of the process. If you would like further event tracking this can be discussed.

5. What about linking Google ads to GA4?

You can safely link your existing UA and GA4 to the one ad account. When you’re ready you or your agency can start optimising for GA4 conversions.

6. What if our organisation is complicated or getting stakeholder sign off slows the implementation down?

Sounds like you would benefit more from a  custom quote.

7. What does the CRO report include?

GA4 is only helpful if you get insights from the data, so we’ll show you some insights and hypothesise that will increase conversions. This includes traffic, device and conversion insights.

8. What if we don’t have GTM on-site?

No worries, but this will require a custom quote and your or our developed to access the source code.

9. How many websites can you do within the plans?

Each plan has the scope for configuration of 1 root domain, including subdomains.

If you have multiple websites, there it will be efficient to set them up at the same time because of naming conventions and team training for all properties. Please contact us for a quote.

10. How can I compare UA to GA4?

GA4 has a new event-based data model. This make comparing UA and GA4 more difficult.

For example, Universal Analytics highlights Total Users (shown as Users) in most reports, whereas GA4 focuses on Active Users (also shown as Users). So, while the term Users appears the same, the calculation for this metric is different between UA and GA4 since UA is using Total Users and GA4 is using Active Users.

Your team will receive a GA4 cheat sheet helping you understand how to interpret UA data vs GA4 data.

11. Will I need a developer for implementation?

This largely depends on whether you're running your current tracking via Google Tag Manager and what implementation plan we proceed with.

Most implementations will not require developer assistance ensuring fast GA4 property setup.

11. What if I need to add more goals/audiences/reports above the standard scope of my selected plan?
